About Time

Upon closer inspection, you'll see the little puzzle pieces that make up most or all of my colored pencil drawings. The creation of each puzzle piece is improvised as it takes on the shape of the ones around it. The drawing progresses into a collage, filled with tiny, disparate images, making it easy to have a new experience every time the artwork is viewed. I call this method, “Themeless Process.”

Since my materials are simple and the size of my original pieces are compact, I work right out of my home, which I share with my lovely and talented partner, Tara.

Creating these stream-of-consciousness collages is an act of peaceful meditation. I hope thier effect on you is similar.
